Owais, a grateful beneficiary whose life has undergone a transformative journey following the much-needed financial assistance he received from MASAWAT. 14 years ago, Owais started his journey from Araria, Bihar, for a promising livelihood in Delhi. He was surviving on a meagre salary income, hardly enough to sustain his family. With MASAWAT’s livelihood support, he is self-employed and owns an E-Rickshaw. His income has seen a significant jump and he is earning monthly income of Rs. 21,000.
He appreciates the assistance provided to him and says ‘Now my family has access to the dignified life, improved living standard, healthcare and my children can avail better education for their promising future.

Fouzia Anjum
Fouzia Anjum’s family relocated to Delhi few years ago in pursuit of better opportunities, while her husband works as a driver, the household income was insufficient to support a family of 5. The economic situation of family prompted Fouzia to step in and start home- based business of selling ladies cloths. She would contribute 5-6 thousand rupees per month to the household expenses.
For expansion of her business, she approached MASAWAT for financial assistance, she now owns a variety of stock, and earns 15-20 thousand rupees per month.
Fouzia thanks “Masawat Livelihood Foundation” for supporting her, allowing her to cover her children's school fees, enhance quality of life, and ensuring family's well- being. What's truly heartening is her not only committing to repay the amount but also expressing a genuine desire to become an integral part of this program to help others in the future.

Shayan Karim
Shayan Karim started his small-scale garment manufacturing business. During the pandemic he had faced a severe setback. This led to a sharp decline in his in his business as well as the income, he lost clients and struggled to revive his business, this whole event pushed him into a daunting situation.
However, a turning point emerged, he contacted MASAWAT for assistance to acquire a substantial stock of raw material, to prepare stock of stitched clothing, he was optimistic that this would attract new buyers and will lead to a kickstart for his business.
For Shayan, this business is a lifeline for his family which must has to keep running. It ensures food on the table and access to better living conditions. He expresses gratitude to MASAWAT for supporting in rebuilding his livelihood.

SK Alisa
SK Alisa, a resident of Howrah district in West Bengal, faced financial challenges while running his stationary shop, struggling to make ends meet on a meagre monthly income of Rs. 10,000 for his family of five. His fortunes changed when he connected with MASAWAT LIVELIHOOD FOUNDATION, receiving crucial financial assistance to stock his stationary shop.

MOKSADUL KHANDAKAR
Moksadul Khandakar, a resident of West Bengal, Howrah received the much-needed financial assistance for garment stock. He was struggling with the monthly income of Rs 12,000 from his garment shop, faced challenges in stocking diverse range of products to meet market demands. To supplement his income, he resorted to driving a rickshaw during spare hours.
MASAWAT LIVELIHOOD FOUNDATION intervened by providing essential financial assistance for garment stock. This support has transformed his situation, enabling him to now earn Rs. 22,000 monthly and adequately provide for his family of five.

Farhan Uddin
Four years ago, he took over his father's grocery store to support his family while putting his studies on hold, as his father’s illness required him to run the business. However, he faced significant challenges, as the limited profits were insufficient to meet basic needs. Despite his hard work, lack of stock hindered his ability to grow the business.
For Farhan, this business is the lifeline that sustains his family, providing them food and access to improved living conditions, and the means to alleviate the growing burden of medical bills and tuition fees for his children.

Nasir Hossain Halder
Nasir Hossain Halder, a resident of Uttar Mohiary, Howrah, has been running a small garment business for 15 years, stitching and selling garments to retailers.
However, due to insufficient stock and growing family needs, he has struggled to meet market demand and provide for his family. Earning only ₹10,500 a month after paying rent, Nasir was seeking financial support to purchase additional stock, which was crucial for expanding his business and meeting market demands.
With Masawat Livelihood Foundation's assistance, Nasir is confident he will be able to grow his business, improve his income, and provide his family with a dignified life, meeting their basic needs and securing a better future.
