Mohd. Junaid from Sarai Tarin in Sambhal faced a life-changing challenge when he lost his father in 2020. Suddenly, the responsibility of supporting his family fell entirely on his shoulders. As the only earning member, he had to care for his mother and two sisters while trying to build a stable future for them.
Refusing to let hardship defeat him, Junaid decided to learn a skill that could help him earn a livelihood. He traveled to Delhi, where he learned the craft of jeans manufacturing, gaining practical experience in stitching and garment production. Determined to use this skill back home, he returned to Sarai Tarin with a dream of starting his own small workshop.
With borrowed machines and limited resources, Junaid began his work. Although he put in long hours and tireless effort, the lack of capital made it difficult to sustain and grow the business. Meeting daily expenses while managing production was a constant challenge.
At this crucial moment, Masawat Livelihood Foundation extended timely support, giving Junaid the opportunity to strengthen and expand his work. With renewed hope and improved resources, he has been able to increase production and supply jeans to local markets.
Today, Junaid’s small workshop stands as a powerful example of resilience and determination. The jeans he produces are not just garments—they represent his courage to rise above adversity and his commitment to securing a better future for his family.
His journey continues to inspire others in his community, proving that with determination, skill, and the right support, even the most difficult circumstances can be transformed into opportunities for growth and dignity.
