Mansur Ahmad Mollah, a dedicated shopkeeper from West Bengal, has spent the past 15 years running a small grocery store to support his family. Through patience and hard work, his shop became the backbone of his household, helping him meet everyday needs and provide for his loved ones.
For many years, the business managed to sustain the family. However, as the cost of living and children’s education continued to rise, it became increasingly difficult for Mansur to keep up with the growing financial demands. Limited capital meant he could not maintain enough stock or improve the shop to attract more customers, which slowed the growth of his business.
At this challenging stage, Masawat Livelihood Foundation stepped in with timely support of ₹30,000. With this assistance, Mansur was able to expand his inventory and improve the setup of his shop, allowing him to offer a wider variety of products to his customers.
The impact of this support has been significant. With better stock and improved customer service, Mansur’s shop has begun to regain its strength and stability. The increased variety of goods has helped him attract more customers and improve his earnings.
Today, Mansur’s small grocery store stands as a symbol of perseverance and progress. It not only serves the daily needs of his community but also represents renewed hope for a more stable and secure future for his family.
