Pedaling Toward Progress: Nazeer Ahmad’s Story

Nazeer Ahmad a hardworking resident of Rampur, has spent the past eight years building a modest livelihood through his small wholesale business of disposable items. Every day, he travels around the local market on his bicycle, supplying goods to nearby retailers and small shopkeepers.

His rented shop, located near Masjid Al Aqsa Mosque in Rampur, is the heart of his work and the only source of income for his family. Through this small business, Nazeer supports his wife, young son, and his elderly parents who depend on him for their daily needs.

Despite his tireless efforts, running the business has not been easy. Limited capital has meant keeping only a small amount of stock, which often results in low profits and missed opportunities to meet larger orders from customers. This has made it difficult for Nazeer to fully provide the comfort and stability he wishes for his family.

With the support of Masawat Livelihood Foundation, Nazeer received assistance of ₹30,000 to invest in additional stock for his shop. This support will allow him to expand his inventory, serve more retailers, and increase his daily sales.

For Nazeer, this opportunity represents more than just financial help—it is a step toward strengthening his business and creating a more secure future for his family. With renewed hope and determination, he looks forward to growing his work and bringing lasting stability and dignity to his household.
