Faris Hossain Halder, a resident of Uttar Mohiary in Howrah, has been running a small garment business for the past 15 years. With dedication and skill, he stitches garments and supplies them to local retailers, working tirelessly to support his family.
Despite his years of experience and hard work, Faris has faced ongoing challenges. Limited capital meant he could only maintain a small stock of materials, making it difficult to meet the demands of the market. At the same time, the needs of his growing family continued to increase. After paying rent and other expenses, Faris was left with a modest monthly income of around ₹10,500, which made it difficult to provide the stability and comfort he wished for his loved ones.
Recognizing the need to expand his business, Faris sought financial support to purchase additional stock. Increasing his inventory was a crucial step that would allow him to take on more orders and improve his earnings.
With the assistance of Masawat Livelihood Foundation, Faris now has renewed hope for the future. The support will help him strengthen his business, meet market demand, and gradually increase his income.
With determination and hard work, Faris believes this opportunity will enable him to build a more secure livelihood—one that allows him to provide his family with dignity, meet their basic needs, and work toward a better and more stable future.
